Sorry to be spamming the forum with my stuff, but what better wat to get to know a modeller, than by his models. So on that note, I’d like to present one of my recent builds, the DML M4A3 76mm. The model is mostly out of the box, the stowage is a slightly modified Legend item.

The rope is a piece of string, of which I once bought a spool in a modelling shop, from their section for wooden ship modelling. Must have been one of the best modelling investments I have ever done. It’s color is just like real rope, it needs no paint and responds to weathering real well, it doesn’t fray or peel like cotton string and to top it off, it can even be glued with liquid poly cement!
I have no idea what it is made of, but that one tiny spool will last me a lifetime. I guess if you were to rig a trimaster with it, you’d run out real quick, but since I only use a couple of inches per tank model, I should be okay for a good number of years.

A nice, classic example of a Sherman if I do say so myself.
I had to laugh—I saw that rope and I said to myself “That looks just like the stuff I have!”!. Got it in the same place–the ship building section of the ol’ LHS. Great stuff!

My advice: Go get it. Dragon Shermans suffer from a few errors, but nothing that can’t be fixed with minimal skills. They are good fun to build and paint. And the thing with allied tanks is that you can really go to town on the stowage if you want.
