M4A276(W) Sherman in Russian service

This Lend/Lease version of the Sherman was built from two kits. The upper and lower hulls and tracks etc. are from the Tamiya M4A3 kit. The 76mm turret and sand shields are from the Italeri M4A176(W) kit. I modified the rear deck and exhaust to model the M4A2 configuration. The overall paint is ModelMaster dark green, and the (overdone?) markings are Verlinden dry transfers. (My apologies for the wrong version on the original header.)

Looks good. You might want to remove that caged antenna mast – it’s a British feature that was mistakenly supplied to the Italeri M4A1 kit. The tank would have been left in US Olive drab as well.
Also know that US nomenclature didn’t use hyphens. This tank would have been referred to as an M4A2 not M4-A2. Hope this helps

Love the way the Russians wrote all over their Shermans, kind of like they had an inferiority complex…

I did one a while ago, using the same components you did, and have another one, all DML, in progress. If I may, a pic of the kit-bash…

I found Dimitry Loza’s book to be inspiration for another try and what I consider a nifty Shermie. Good job on yours.
