I am just so so with Dragons indy track. I haven’t put ithem together yet so they might turn out ok. Two questions. 1st, is the track on the M46 the same as the Track for the M4 with the HVSS? In the Korean war photos I see, they look the same. T66 or T80 maybe but I am not sure. 2nd question. Who makes a good aftermarket set of indy track for the M46?
AFV club makes both the T80E-1 and T84E-1 tracks for the M-26/M-46
Is AFV Club track better than the Dragon indy set?
While were on M-46’s whose is better Tamiya’s or dragon’s’? Cost is one issue by the way.
I have the M46. I’ve read that the Tamiya M26 was better. The dragon kit looks OK. It comes in the softer gray plastic. Some of the items that are molded seperatly on the dragon kit were molded to the hull or turret.
Thanks for the info on AFV Cuub track!
The M4A3 HVSS tracks looks similar to the M46 tracks, but they are different sizes. Tamiya’s kit is a late WW2 T26E3 and the Dragon M46 is a late Korean War tank. I’ve got all three variants of the Dragon kit (T26E3, M26A1, M46) and the Tamiya M26. The Tamiya kit is superior.
