M42 Duster

Hi,
I’m new to this list,but have been modelling dragrace cars for some years now.
I would like to model a M42 duster,but cannot seem to find one. Tamiya is disc.
While searching the web I found reference to a kit by AFV club but cannot find this kit either. Any help would be appreciated.

Great Models Webstore is listing it as a reissue from Tamiya. I had heard Tamiya was putting it out again. Here is the GreatModels site: http://www.greatmodels.com/cgi/display.cgi?item_num=tam35161

It is a good starting point, but a crude kit with a lot of molded on details such as tools and tow cable. These can be cut off and new ones added and it can come out looking great. Here is mine:


I too have heard about the forthcoming AFV Club M42. I hope it comes out soon. It would be a great kit based on their great M41 Walker Bulldog model…
