OK folks. Those of you who wanted to see my entry in the Atl IPMS, here it is. It is still a work in progress for a diorama, but almost completed. Thanks to those of you who show an interest in my work. To see the photos, click on the link . On the Home page there will be a link for the M4 halftrack, just click on it to view the 4 pics.
There it is!! Thanks Tim! Let me tell y’all, the pics do not do this thing justice. I checked it out up close at the show and the detail Tim has on this thing is amazing!! I’ve got to be sure not to enter the same catagory when he’s done!!! [;)]
Excellent work Tim!

I’m still in awe of Tim’s work. You have to see it up close to appreciate the level of detail. Tim, it’s really marvelous stuff. It was great to meet you and the gang. Hopefully we can do it again soon. - Ed
Amazing! Incredible amount of detail you put into that one, Tim. Great work! How long did it take you to build that?
Multi-media, It took me almost 8 months. All of the time was not consecutive though as I got frustrated and set it to the side for about 6 or 7 weeks. I also had to wait for parts (Verlinden engine) and inspiration!! Hopefully it will be done for the next show in the diorama categoty with several figures (which is really why I built it) and who knows what else.
Hey Erush, I loved your work at the show. I see how much more I need to improve in order to reach your level of work.
Thanks for the encouragement guys. It’s always nice to receive constructive criticism and a pat on the back once and a while.
kewlllllll !!!
two thumbs up! [tup][tup]
As per usual…fantastic Tim. One thing, and its just a personal practice on my part… The packs, tarp and stowage, all look the same color, tone and hue. When I do stowage, I try to mix it up a little. Making one pack lighter or darker than an another, if even by just a little. And the tarp a different shade than the packs, etc.
It may be a combination of the photo and the computer screen so ignore me if it is.
I really like this piece. And the detail is outstanding. Very impressed with the front end work.
