About all I have to do now is make the decals I want. Put on something to dull it down a bit,Then mount it someway. But all-in-All I’m pretty happy the way it turned out.[:)]Next project just showed up,The AFV M10 Wolverine[:D]

looks good, nice weathering… unless i am mistaken, the tracks wouldn’t be rusted as they were rubber pads… but maybe i am wrong. but it’s a great clean build, thanks for the pics.
Looks great, but as tankergeoff said, the rust on the rubber prabably wouldn’t occur. It would look more accurate if the rubber was a lighter colour to show the sun’s aging on the tracks. I may as well be wrong though, so slap me if I’m not helping[;)].
All in all though, Great build!
It may be a bad photo, But I could be wrong also if so easily corrected. The rubber part of the tracks are black(aged) the connectors and guides I rusted and used graphite on. Now not being familiar with Tanks of that era, were or were-not the guides and connectors metal? Or did I get some rust and graphite in some wrong places? If so I will correct those areas THANKS
You’re correct. All the metal parts would eventually rust. All the connectors should be metal. Very nice job.Good job on the weathering. I just ordered the Academy one myself. Thanks for sharing.
Ken, that looks great. Makes me think I should do my Stuart next!

The only thing stopping you is a very small spot on your building board,And a very large magnifying Glass[:D]
True. Very true.
I lost several pieces to the carpet Devil, and I mean little pieces,To my amazement my wife found them all. I have a new weapon for combating those carpet Devils…[}:)]
My wife is also rather good at that. good thing, because I do that a lot. Was that build overall time consuming or does it go together smoothly?
It actually goes together quite easily, Now I bouce around a bit doing this then that. You being more experienced, It should go quite smoothly. I used the rubber band tracks and they work nicely, just a job getting them to glue together.
Can’t think of anything that didn’t work, pretty good instructions, plenty of extra parts for the junk box. You should have a good time with it.
great! going to go eyeball the contents now. You are right with the tracks, by the way. The pads are rubber, but the rest would be metal
Ken, do the return rollers have rubber on them or are they all metal? Can’t tell and the directions call for them to be all OD
well, step one and I need to put the wife to work. Had B42, the holder for the rear towing shackle in the tweezer when it shot straight up in the air and dissapeared into the carpet
[:D][:D][:D] Exactly the same pieces I lost in exactly the same way…The return wheels would have rubber on them also, just consider them small roadwheels.
Found that piece yet[#wstupid][:D]
Hey, I found mine too…but it took a little ingenuity and the sacrifice of a brand new sweeper bag. I put a new bag in, vacuumed the floor and cut it open and there it was (I also found another part I have given up on!)
Good work! came out ahead on that deal[bow]
Looks good to me. The highlights to me are the tracks and the open “windows”. Nice work. I’m soon starting a Canadian variant from the 5th Armored Regiment of the 5th.
Alright Ken. Your M3 looks pretty sharp, and you’re already diving into another project!
You got Da building fever.[^] Wouldn’t you love to have one of them M3’s to tool around town in? Semper Fi, mike
Thanks Grant, It’s a lot of fun.
You bet Mike, tooling around SD in an M3 would be a kick! Ordered an M10 last week it just happened to show up yesterday, Naturally have everything out of the box,and the parts look outstanding.directions eeeeh! there arn’t any just pictures, but clear and a site in the review on building an M10 so it should go well.
