Hey, I decided to post a WIP for it, the fit on this thing has been less then good ALOT of filling and sanding. I only have a few shots for you, here there are.
and the inside.
As you can tell, the outside isnt painted, the inside (which comes out untill I want to finalise it) is, I used ‘flat light aircraft gray’ for the inside, it shows white in all the built shots, but I perfer that color, then I just dry brushed some silver, and black over the insides and the metal, to show wear and such.
Looking good so far smeagol! Which Grant kit is it…Tamiya, Academy, something else?
Academy, the new one they put out (Im gona stop buying academy, and trumpeter… but taht so limited my selections…
Interesting subject, I don’t know much about them. But you are off to a great start.

Heh, yea, it does, it gives me something to scream at when the directions dont indicate how the part goes on correctly and I have to unglue it, un seam fix it, and put it on right… (im looking at you forward tread skirts)
Sorry to hear this kit is being such a pain. Nevertheless it looks like your off to a good start, and I’m lookin’ forward to seeing your Grant painted and weathered.[:)]
It may be a while untill it is finished, I REALLY dont wana do the road wheels… Plus I gota get that mini finished (check the auto page for it)
Well, the construction is coming along rather slowly. Things like windows and hatches are coming along simply. But there is always a section of armor I have to unglue and reglue because it either moved (no real direction on the piece of how it fits in) or the directions were unclear… ugh. Pics later if there is anything to report

Naw - it’s not that bad , is it? I wanted to get one just for the interior, and that I’ve always just liked this tank. I have the old, old Tamiya, but it’s got no insides. Something that boxy with big hatches SHOULD have an interior!
