Want to have a quick build out of the box with the classic plastic Tamiya M3 Grant. I want to finish it in the 3 tone Desert Rats camo but my airbrush is currently outta action. was the finish handbrushed by the troops in the field or was it sprayed? Any good pics?

Most desert M3 Grants were monotone. Some had wavy patterns of a single camo color. I know of one pic that showed a dark camo color outlined by a darker band – it’s clear that it was brush applied. Email me and I can fwd this pic to you.

From what I have read, it was actually some sort of colored concrete, mixed to a point where it could be be brushed on.
