Help,Lookin’ for a turned metal main gun barrel for my 1/35 Tamiya Pershing.Anybody know of someone who makes it???

I used the Rubio barrel after building the kit part, which is quite nice, BTW. I wanted to compare the two, especially since the muzzle brake on the metal barrel was quite rough from probable mold mis-alignment. I did clean it up, and had to turn down the base of the barrel for a good fit in the mantlet. I suppose I could have opened up the socket in the mantlet…oh well. It looks right compared to pics in the Ampersand Axis-Allied book with the Pershing segment. What made up my mind was the section thickness of the two barrels- the AM part looked more correct, the kit part appeared a little “dainty”.
Just note to omit the infantry telephone box on the rear hull if you plan on doing a WW2 version – many modellers have made this mistake. Also smooth in the shell ejection port to the left turret wall. It’s a great kit!
