Here is my last work. Normally I build German armors. The treatment of the dark colours for weathering is different. I hope you like it.
Kit: M26 A1 - Pershing / DML, 1/35
Version: Version: Company B, 1st Marine Tank Batalion, near Hamhung, Korea 1950.
Figure: Verlinden (I used this figure Vietnam Era as proof, are not glued in the tank, soon I will receive another figure.)
I’ve been wishing to see a finished DML offering of this kit. I have one myself, just haven’t gotten around to building it. Your work is definitely a first-rate job, and the weathering is very subtle but effective. Thanks for the pics.
Rodolfo, thats one beauty of a build and the weathering is just right, however, is that a seam line on the turret visible in the fourth picture from the top? Gotta get that fixed.

[:D] Thanks for your kind comments friends!. For the weathering I used pigments (earth colour powder) mixed with alcohol isopropilic and airbrush with acrylics of Tamiya (earth colour too).
The tank looks great. The figure is of the wrong era though. A Korean war USMC tanker would have the same style soft helmet as a WWII tanker. The Bone Dome helmet as on your figure wasn’t used till the Vietnam war. Flak jacket is also of Vietnam design. Looks like you used the Verlinden Vietnam tanker figure. Would look even better with the proper era figure in the hatch.
Top notch work Rodolfo! Other then the figure which has been mentioned and I believe you stated that it was temporary? You have really captured the look of armor in the field. Just one small point!! If you have the means, drill out the barrel on your 50cal machine gun, it will enhance it even more. Thanks for sharing your beautful work with us. Semper Fi, Mike
