Has anyone biult the PART M1A1 Mine Plow set, that might be able to email me some in-progress pics?
Also - in terms of attaching to the M1A1, Is it correct to assume that this plow could be fitted to an M1A1 HA?
I’d like to build the Revell M1A1 HA and put this incredibly detailed PART plow on the front and use the Archer dry trnasfers - which is for this Marine tank:

Would I need to modify any other parts of the Revell kit, such as adding an extended bustle rack that I have seen on other M1A1’s?
(Hopefully not too many questions). What would really help is a “How to model the M1A1 Abrams” book!
Thanks to all in advance,
Derek

Sounds like questions for Major Rob or our other M1 experts. I only drove M1IP’s… never got to play with a mine plow. I like that link though. I especially like parking tanks on grass! More fun for the lawn mower guys.
Ron.
Farm tools just make you a more valuable target. I’ve heard horror stories about the Part mine plow kit but have not dealt with it.
The mine plow will go on any M1 series tank (M1, M1IP, M1A1, M1A2) as well as the M60 series tank. The M1A1 “HA” is a misnomer and is just a late M1A1 that is uparmored with a depleted uranium mesh. The power cable goes through the right driver’s vision block (periscope). On M1A2SEPs, there is a power conduit on the front slope so you no longer need to drop a vision block.
