M151A2 for a Viet Nam vets group

This is my first photo posting. [:D]

My model building club (Rochester HSMA) has been asked to build a bunch of
viet nam era kits for display, for the vets themselves, or for a travelling display
to hospitals and such.

This is my first build for it. It is also my first use of photoetch, painting a soldier,
and using a base. I’m sorry for the photo. My office digital was built in Rochester
at least 5 years ago. [:)]

I hope you like it. I’m usually a 1/72 scale armor builder.

Let me know what is going on with the photo anybody. I’m new to this stuff, but it is way fun.

Looks pretty good from what I can tell. Here’s the pic though , I don’t think you had the whole address. You have to right click it and get it fromt he properties.

Looks pretty cool, but how about some more pics. Maybe a little too much light on it also.

[:D] hi Grant, the kit looks good to me [:D]

Nice build.Weathering looks good.

Looks like a good build, however, M151A2 was not used in Vietnam. The M151A2 version came out in mid 1970s. In Vietnam, the M151A1 was used. It had smaller turn signal and tail lights, a divider bar down the middle of the windshield, and a few other modifications in the body work. Academy makes a M151A1 model:

Thanks for the input. I’ll try to post more photos with the backup camera with better resolution. As for the dates of the A2 version, I knew some of the photoetch looked
a little modern.
