Pro Art does a few update sets for the interior and exterior and new tires for it as well. There are a few other tire sets too, but I can’t remember from whom.

ProArt does indeed make wheel sets for the M977 as does Tank Workshop. R&J Enterprises distributes both, although the ProArt sets are slow in arriving. Eduard makes an excellant PE set that is very extensive for the interior as well as some exterior fittings. ProArt also does a crane set for the M977, but it’s hard to come by. Check your references carefully, as most of the photos showing recent M977s show upgrades to the M985. The M985 has a large stowage box on the right side as well as the heavier-duty crane. It is possible to upgrade the Italeri kit crane with a little work. The hook assembly is larger and the hydraulic lifting cylinders are larger and configured differently. There are lots of other minor upgrades that can be seen on the Prime Portal site: look closely. Here is a link to my M985 WIP if it’s any help.
