I was just at this year’s TamiyaCon '05 in Orange County, California. Out front of their headquarters building they’d parked a very nicely maintained full-up M-5 Stuart Light Tank. So, I took out my digital camera and popped off about thirty or so pics of it as I walked around that beauty. I’ve now posted those shots up on my site:

Good looking photos. I find much irony in that the Tamiya can have an exact, full-size tank sitting right there, and yet the kit they produce and re-release of the same vehicle is so poor.
To put an optimistic spin on it though, maybe this is a “secret sign” that an accurate, re-tooled M-5 could be in the works? Little tricks like that aren’t uncommon in this business either. DML for the longest time used to put images of upcoming kits onto the cover art of recent releases.
