M-12 155mm SPG

Folk’s,

This is the Acedamy kit of the M-12, it was built OOB but the replication for the mud was applied sawdust, coated in white glue, when dry then coated in acrylic earth with pastels added to the mix, pastels were applied overall to tone down the finished model.
It was originaly built some years ago for the importing agents to use on their trade stand at a toy fair, from there it was displayed in a shop untill just recently.

Rob.

One nice build. Never thought to use saw dust thanks for sharing.

Great build! Love the way the weathering is portrayed on the back end there…

Rob, Great Job… I love the ol’ M12. Very No-nonsense…

looks good thier lobbie, i am in the process of finshing my m-12 155. did you replace the thread to hold up the rear dozer blade? i am having a hard time trying to get mine the way i want it.[:D][:D]

very nice model. im looking to build one myself, so ill order it eventually to put on the “to do” list.

Cool build, and yet another interesting ingredient for mud as well.

Ga.modler,

To answer your question.

No I didn’t replace the thread for the rear blade, I made everything as per the instructions, then glued the blade in the retracted posision, tentioned the thread then glued it down to the winch.

Rob.

Nicely done Rob.
I’ve got a couple of these sitting on the shelf that I haven’t gotten around to yet. Seeing your build may just be the inspiration I need.

Thanks for sharing.

Lobbie nice looking M-12. I too have one sitting on my self waiting to be built

I forgot to mention… I have one built painted and decaled… I am just getting warmed up on the weathering though… I was wondering how you did your winch cable. Thats a good plan… I am though torn about how to display mine. Its either gonna be a Dragon Wagon load or setting up in a firing mode…

Again Lobbie … super job on yours. I like the decal choice… I’d love to see it in a diorama…any thoughts…
