Lycomming T53 for Mohawk OV-1A

Does anyone know of a detail engine kit for the Mohawk in 1/48 scale. I am working on the Roden model with the Eduard ‘Big Ed’ detail set and I wanted to open up the model to see the turbine but I have not been able to locate an engine. I believe the engine is the same as the one (close anyway) as the Marine Cobra’s, so would that work instead.

If anyone has any ideas on this I would love to hear then.

I think you will find major differences between the T-53 in the Huey and the Mohawk, unless you don’t open up the gearcase area. Sounds like fun, good luck, and post pictures, it should be a nice model.
