Luftwaffe project plane is done...

Hi all,

Just a few quick pics of the Revell 1/72 scale Blohm & Voss BV P-194 build. I added some cockpit detail, brake lines, whip antenna, drilled out gun ports and used decals from the spares box. The hypothetical scheme is Lichtgrun/Dunkelgrun over “RLM 84”.
Model was pre and post shaded and pastels were used for weathering.
Hope you like it!

Happy modeling all!

Take care,
Frank

Thanks Frank…I see your up late as well[8D] I really did enjoy this little kit, even though I’m not a big Luft 46’ fan.

Joe

Great build of an interesting topic!!

Best I have ever seen that kit done - great job.

It definately has “Blohm und Voss” written all over it.

Well done !

Great looking build I must say. Tiger33

Thanks very much guys…you got that right Pix. Kind of makes you wonder what their designers looked like!

Thad

Beautifully done! Great detail.

Great paint job!

Great looking build Joe.

Beautiful as ever.

Karl

Thanks guys for the feedback…George, I use Prismacolor pastel pencils for the paint wear. I keep photos of in service period a/c close by to try to help me get it “right”.

Happy modeling guys!

Joe

Yeahh…forgot the pencils…
I thought you used tape for masking panels and chipping over that…
Love it!!!

I do mask along the belly panels and control surfaces for the subtle weather streaking I do with the air brush. The pastel work is usually all freehand.

Joe

Simply outstanding Joe! congratulations on a very nice build.
