Just starting to get back into modelling after about 20yrs.
Started simple with 1/72 hobby Boss f-86 Sabre - quite impressed with kit. Anyway need help with paint guide.
Green colour is dark geen - but not sure which - looked around the net and founed refernces to Humbrol 155 - didn’t look right or Humbrol 195 (too dark?).
Anyone got some pointers???
Hmmm Model Mater by Testors makes a European Dark Green color. Lots of times when a color doesn’t look right I take a picture of what I’m looking for to the store and see what matches best. Sometimes it looks better that way as kit painting guides can be wrong.
The color was RAL 6014 the IPMS Stockholm site recomends Humbrol 155. Here’s a link

The colour is RAL6014 Gelboliv, for which Humbrol 155 is a pretty good match. It is also available in the Xtracolor and Revell Germany ranges.

…and I believe the gray is RLM 75 (Grauviolett), offered in the Model Master line.
