Luckymodel

Has anyone dealt with Luckymodel Company? Anything up with them? Plus or minus.

I got stuff on order with them and it’s not coming. Not answering the email’s either.

Dan

Was it in-stock? I’ve heard positive things about them, but if it wasn’t in-stock, then it might take awhile.

That is strange… I just put an order last week, sent an email to cancel one item, got a positive response the next day …

Look at their web site, there is a difference between AVAILABLE and IN STOCK. AVAILABLE items means you have to wait for re-stocking, so not immediately available.

If you go to their web site and login to your account (button on top right hand corner), and it states the status of each item: example-

| CM0711-032010 | 11/22/2007 | DR 1013 | 1/350 U.S.S. Mobile Bay | 1 | |
| - | - | - | - | - | - |
| CM0711-032010 | 11/22/2007 | DR 1022 | 1/350 USS Momsen DDG-92, Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer | 1 | |

AVAILABLE means “waiting for re-stock”. Good costumer service, this is part of the email response I got a day after I sent a cancellation request:

Please note all items are in stock for you, except DR 1013, RE 05041 & TA 35096. RE 05041 will be restocked in the next few days, however there is yet any concrete stocking date for DR 1013 & TA 35096. If you want us to ship you in stock items first and backorder the others, pls let us know. If you want to cancel or exchange items, please email us. I’ve cancelled TP05304 as per your request. You now have US$13.46 balance. You can add more items to the order or let me transfer this amount to store credit for your next purchase. Regards, Silvia Lo Luckymodel.com

I mean, this IS good costumer service… and you can’t beat their prices, as long as you are willing to wait 1-2 months on top of the re-stocking wait time.

Hope this helps!

Jim

Thanks guys. You’ve been a great help.

Dan

In addition to what’s been said above, if you need to contact them to query an order, the preferred method is to go to your “my account” page and select the “my request” button. This will give you a much faster response than email.

the only thing i still can’t figure is their shipping

2 1/35 scale pcs of armor both within a few grams weight of each other, same manu., same size box

8.50 price diff in shipping makes no sense

DURR< it’s the Internet … it doesn’t have to make sense.

I have good dealings with them a couple of time and they have been very responsive with emails. just take into account hte 12 hour time difference.

Durr, not sure which kits you mean, but their shipping charges are based on per Kg I believe. So if you go over 1Kg, you are charged the same until 2Kg. I’ve played to pack as much kit into the remaining weight game more than once as the shipping charges that brings up the price. Their regular prices are quite inexpensive compare to US prices.
