High post counts really don’t mean anything other than the poster:
- Has been there a long time.
- Participates (talks) a lot. [:-^]
- Probably spends too much time posting to forums…[:-^]
There’s no way to quantify the quality of the posts, only the quantity. It’s like advanced degrees:
BS—everyone knows what that is…
MS—you just Made Some-more of the above…
PhD—Piled it higher and Deeper…
The only things I post that you (or anyone) should take to heart are those concerning coatings, chemicals, health hazards, and rocks (natural or synthetic). Those are things I know more about than most. Everything else is subject to interpretation—probably the sort involving laughter![:-,]
