Lots of Builds...

Here is a mixed bag of builds i have done over the past few months i have been away!

my parade duty Czech BRDM-3

my Nuclear fallout attack 1947 build with my favorite model…
[:p]
oh yes that was my first dio, not to good but i had fun making the figs and Sd.kfz.251

Hey Beav, the doilie is a nice touch in your dio. LOL Sorry, just teasing. The 251 looks cool, Dragon kit I assume? I like the figs too, wouldn’t mind getting them myself, Dragon makes great figs.

yeah, that is the Ausf.C 3in1, it is 1/2 pioneer vehicle, and 1/2 3.7 pak
the BRDM-3 is from Shanghai Dragon, the working cross country suspension wheels are a nice touch to it. NO interior though, and not front glass panes as shown in instructions and the markings are limited to the BRDM-2 kit’s markings-ie naval? soviet, DDR, Poland, and Czech. And the new Iraq markings…not to many left there now…

Nice job on your 1st dio. How did you do the tarp on the back of the 251?

[:D] all your kits look great,nice job.[:D]

Good job! I especially like your 251.

looking great, congrats on your first dio

Dave

Great job!

Great builds there beav .
However a little wethering/drybrushing would not hurt.

great builds, I like the 251 dio.

The builds are very good Steve! The finish on the “251” is exceptionally nice, but, in a dio setup, you might want to add a little weathering. The figures are excellently painted. One thing you might want to try! a step toward future detailing of your figures, is, experiment with cutting thin lines of foil from coffee can seal lids to make slings and strapping material for your accessories. You will have to use super glue to attach the slings, and strapping, but, it adds another demension to your figures. These are just some suggestions, and in no way take away from the fine job you have already done. Semper Fi, Mike

Nice work beav. Haven’t seen you on the boards for a while.

no i was away for a while from modelling in general, the 251 was on the boards since december, and the BRDM3 i built in 3 days…paintballing takes up time and money you see…thanks for the constructive criticism, you can’t really see it, but the 251 is weathered a little bit, not much though…and the sling idea i will keep in mind-that is why i frankensteined the 251 with the engineer bridge support rack thing, because i didn’t know how to make good tie downs…

hey beav, you wouldnt mind listing all the gear iside of tha 251 for me would ya
