Hey gang,
I am going to do the Tamiya V-1 buzz bomb this weekend and need some reference photos for painting it. Can someone post something here for me? I can’t seem to find anything on the web. Any help or comments welcome,
Perry

Wywiad Armii Krajowej W Walce Z V-1 i V2. THis book was published by Mirage the Polish model company. There is an English summary in the back. There are photos, plans and colour profiles of both V1s and V2s. I got my copy from www.midlandcountiessuperstore.com. It can also be seen on the Mirage web site.
I got some photos I took while a real ‘buzz bomb’ or ‘doodlebug’ was at the local museum. take a look:

my password is ‘models’.
let me know if the password doesn’t work.
If you want something a little different, there is a JB-2 loon at the Hill Aerospace Museum.

there is one on a stand outside the courthouse here in Greencastle, IN. I would offer to take some pics for you, but they would probably think i was going to bomb the place knowing my luck. I think the origianl paint job on it was just a flat dark green. It is supposed to be “as is” from WWII, except for general up keep.
thanks guys,
