looking for RAF Catilina Defensive armament references

I am looking for any reference on the defensive machine guns on RAF coastal command PBY Catalinas as to what types and any photos of the type of gun used I’m converting a academy PBY-5 to a british Catalina the guns included are browning machine guns but i believe the british used a Drum fed Lewis type gun

Any and all help is appreciated

PanzerWulff;

Here are a few links I found for you. You may have to search CANSO as well to find aircraft used by the RAF and RCAF. One link that may be of use for a unique is this one http://www.nt.net/~toby/ceylon.html it is the brief listing of a great story.

Additionally try these

I will see if I can find my reference, but I vaguely remember reading that the Lend-Lease PBYs were not re-gunned and always flew with their standard mix of .30- and .50-caliber Brownings. If I can find it I will scan and send you a copy.
