looking for non penitration pics

does anyone know where i can find some pictures of a tank that has been shot, but has not been penitrated?

thanks in advance[;)]

If you looking at German armor, there’s plenty. I can’t help you with the pics I have because they’re all in books and I don’t have a scanner…

If your looking at Allied, I don’t know, they tended not to survive many impacts.

Somebody should be along with some links for you soon.

heres a kingtiger that hasnt been penitrated

Captain Caveman,

I just get a red X

its the 21st photo down on here http://www.wwiivehicles.com/html/germany/tanks_heavy/pzkpfw_vib_photos.html

john kerry fight in WWII too??? lol

i put my hobby knife in the place i want a hit and turn it till i get a hole, but not too deep…

i want these pics for my kv-1 i plan to get, but any pics of tanks will do.

Your best bet would be to round up a few books on the Tiger. There will be several pictures of hits with no penitration.

I saw some today but I can’t remember where! Aaaaargh[banghead]
Some great shots of 76mm hits that bounced off the glacis. It had to be on website, because I didn’t have my nose in any armour books today. I hate it when this happens. This is going to be on my mind all night tonight.

nice site, Captain Caveman, I am working on a KT now, so all those pics help.

thanks alot guys

it seems they are cone shaped with a bit of a buldge around the hole.

i was thinking of using a soldering iron to make them, does anyone have any better ideas? i may try a bunch of technices on a spar piece of plastic to see which makes the best effect.

Here’s a couple more…

This is poor quality and doesn’t show much detail but you may find it interesting, if not useful.

This is a good closeup of another KV-II showing a couple that didn’t get through.

Fade to Black…

very helpul black wolf, thanks.

maybe i’ll try a drill too.

ive got some photos of a shot up KV2, im not sure where there from

theres some on here http://www.battlefield.ru/destroyed/ussr.html
look on the rest of the site for more

The soldering Iron will be perfect for the job! Test it out first on an old build or plastic sheet. I accedentally found this out whe I tried to make dents. Its easy, youll figure it out.

I saw the title and I just couldn’t help myself … [:-,] How about checking out Showtime or Cinemax?

Surprised it took this long for a comment like that! [;)]

Fade to Black…

i tried the soldering iron and it turned out exacly how i want it to!

i do not know what Showtime or Cinemax are.

thanks alot guys
