I have a Micro Machine Military toy from my younger days that I would like to get in model form, but i have no idea what the name is. On a website i found they call it a DPV - Desert Patrol Vehicle but i don’t think that’s the right name. It looks like a dune buggy and has an elevated seat at the rear. It was in the movie Three Kings if anyone has seen that. does anybody know the name and does anybody know if any companies make a 1/35 scale model of it? Here’s a link to the website i found. click picture reference, then military micro machines, then production history - ground vehicles. look down the list for the DPV.
Thanx a million

I haven’t seen a model of it. I’d like Tamiya to do one!!
Eric
I dont know if it would be more fun to be the driver or gunner on that thing
It looks like the driver has his own gun as well, so I’m thinking it would be more fun to be the driver.
Dragon carried this as one of their up and coming kits a couple of years ago. Unfortunately it never came to be.
The right -seater has the 40mm. the only model I know of one of these was the Tamiya 1/10 scale R/C. It was of an early 2 seat version with a single M-60 and was called the FAV (Fast Attack Vehicle).
Thanx for the help guys
the Dragon one was in there up and coming range ten years ago and was never released, hopefully with there new ten year anniversary models they release it(fingers crossed )
