looking for MOLLE-wearing figs & modern German weapons in 1/35

I’m trying to find G36 or MG36 and Panzerfaust 3 weapons in 1/35th scale. I think some of the older Dragon/DML figure kits had these. If anyone knows for sure, I would appreciate a note of what kits had them.

Also, is anyone making kits of modern infantry wearing MOLLE gear? The only ones I am sure about are Tamiya’s modern JGSDF sets of Humanitarian Assistance Team and Recon Motorcycle.

Thanks for the help!

There are Resin figures with Intercepter vests, which are MOLLE gear compatible. I believe Verlinden Production has those figures. These are U.S. Figures.

Dragon’s Modern US Marines (kit #3027) are also wearing IBA (MOLLE) vests. They are pretty good figures and represent modern troopers pretty well.

Most resin companies such as Blast, Verlinden, Warriors, Alpine, etc. have modern troopers wearing IBA as well.

HeavyArty - that DML kit makes me happy! Now, if only they’d make another kit in more combat-oriented poses.

Trumpeter also have a set of modern US Marines (kit# 407) wearing IBA (some with hydration packs)

Unfortunately, their facial expressions are somewhat distressed… [xx(]

That is the beauty of the DML figures. You can take the torsos off the above set and swap them out with any of the older DML figure sets to get almost any position you want. Their older (ODS-era) sets come in a bunch of in-combat poses that look great when transformed into IBA-clad troopers. I used IBA torsos on older DML figures in the below pics on a 3ID OIF dio. You can also use the Trumpeter torsos on older DML figures as well. The Trumpeter figures are only really good for their IBA torsos and weapons anyways. The rest of them are pretty bad.

More pics here.

Not trying to hijack the thread–But HeavyArty, what did you use for the sidewalk and curb in those pictures? it looks perfect!

Heavy - you are making my day brighter and brighter! You see, I needed to buy the ODS 82nd Abn kit for the bush-hats (another item I need plenty of - heads in bush hats or loose bush hats to plop onto heads). So now I can use their in-combat arms and legs for the IBA torsos. (I never really tried to kitbash the DML figs, so I didn’t know they’d work well or not).

Ian, hijack away, because I wanna know, too!!

Wall spackle. The wall is a piece of 3/4" plywood. The sidewalk is a piece of 1/4" foamcore. I covered it all with wall spackle. Once it is dry, I wet my fingers and rub it all down so it is smooth. Then I scribe the lines for the crub, wall, and sidewalk joints. Paint, and you are done.

Glad to help out. Good luck with the figures.

Even better, it’s all made of household materials I have plenty of. Thanks!
