WHen I was in the Army I was in missile mainyenance and saw a few MLRS tracks in the shop and always thought they were pretty cool. Any suggestions as to which kit would be a good one to purchase and build.

You want to get the M270 MLRS with rocket pods by Dragon. Nice kit, builds well

Mine is not the best but you can see a few more pics on my collection. As most of the people know here, I’m more VN to ODS. If you need more detail, you may get a hit from “Heavy Arty”. He is more in the present and currently serving with MLRS. If he does not hit the thred check out his collection, nice modern US armor.

All the MLRS kits are the same molds (Dragon’s) but just in different boxes. The US version comes with the rocket pods (as stated above), the European version is called the MARS but is identical to the US kit except for decals and the lack of the rocket pods.
I believe either Italeri or Revell reboxed this kit in the mid-90s for sale in Europe too. Regardless, any of the various boxings will be the same basic kit inside.

I’m also sure I’ve seen it in a Revell Germany box, but I can’t find any supportive evidence, so my memory may be faulty.
Dragon also do a MRLS in 1/144!
