Looking for dureable WWII kits for Wargameing.

I’ve asked this at WH40k message boards but they can’t tell me what I need to know.

I want to use histoircal kits for vheclies in a army I’m doing but haveing a hard time find out what vheclies to use.

From what I understand in 40k they use 1/35 scale for transports, and 1/48 scale for large tanks (with 1/35 sale hatchs)

I was woundering if you chould give me advice on where I chould find good quality 1/35 scale WWII German Half Tracks. Perferable something cheep/afforable yet sturdy enught to take the abuse of wargameing.

It doesn’t have to be that detailed since I’m probly going to add more sci-fi details to it so they fit in the setting.

The cheapest German half-track I can think of is Tamiya’s old SdKfz 251/1. http://www.greatmodels.com/~smartcart/cgi/display.cgi?item_num=TAM35020

It has ok detail and rubber band tracks so you won’t have to worry about those breaking as easily as plastic ones.
