I’m looking for some data plate decals, such as thouse found on landing gear struts, various electronic components, radial engine crankcases, helcopter gearboxes, transmissions, etc. Usually they are aluminum, sometimes with black paint in certain areas. I looked on Squadron and all they have are two sets of decals for 1/35 scale trucks. I would be using them on 1/48 & 1/32 scale aircraft. Anybody have any suggestions?
Archer makes some nice dry transfer placards. This generic set might work:

Waldron used to make cockpit placards in 1/48th… Dunno if they still do or if you cn find any if they don’t…
On Mike Grant’s excellent set of instrument decals there is a good selection of these placards. You can buy them direct or from cprue brothers, I beleive
