Looking for an outhouse -- you heard right -- for diorama.

Yes, gentlemen and ladies, we are doing a 1/48 WW I aircraft service depot diorama using three a/c, the front of a maintenance building, sort of a small hangar front, some outdoor maintenance tables with an engine and parts on it, a gun on the other being cleaned. So for some reason it suddently dawned on my that right around the corner, not unrealistically too close, should be a nice old two-holer complete with roll and newspaper or magazine.

Hey, AcMin put a toilet and a Life or Stars and Stripes magazine in their B-25 series, a differnet magazine from the appropriate year of the a/c depicted on the decal sheet of each subtype, and as far as I know, nobody complained about it being in bad taste, and if they did they were in serious need of a life.

Anyway, I imagine somebody like Verlinden makes an outhouse, but only in 1/35 scale. Probably have to scratch one up using Evergreen clapboard and a section of simulated corrugated tin. And a half-moon in the door, I suppose.

Check Wather’s catalog. O scale RR stuff may have such a facility in it.
