I’m trying to find a model of the CJ 5 Jeep around 1969-1973. Preferably 1/35th scale or 1/25th. A hard top would be nice too.
AMT’s Daisy’s Jeep Dukes of Hazzard is listed as CJ-7, but i’m told it’s actually a CJ-5. plenty of them around.

You could also use one of the old Skybow M38A1 kits in 1/35.
A M38A1 with the hardtop done in blue with 555TFS markings and the drivers door saying of “555TFS-largest distributor of MIG parts in SEA” Love to have one of those to go with the 1/32 F4D tail number 67-463 I’ve got in the wings.
The CJ5 would have to be retro’ed with the battery box cover, air intake on the right side, big fuel neck, split w/shield, and no tailgate. If real picky would have to reverse the front spring shackles and also go to the “U-Bolt” type instead of the later flat plate style.
I’ll keep my eyes open.
Accurate Armour has a CJ-5 conversion kit for the Skybow/AFV Club 1/35 M38A1 kit. Both the conversion set and the M38A1 are really nice. I use part of the CJ-5 conversion (tailgate) to build an M606/CJ-3B.
Monogram and Revell also did a couple of snap-tite 1/32 Jeeps, but I think they were CJ-7s. One had a hard top and the other a soft top.
