Looking for a Me-410-ever heard of it?

Hi everyone[:)]
I saw a Revell/Monogram Me-410(pro modeller issue) in 1/48 scale on a gallery site and was really impresed with it. Trouble is, I cannot find one here in the UK. Do any of you know if this one has been deleted?

I’ve not built any German WWII aircraft before, but this one really got my attention and I’d like to build it. Any idea where I might be able to get one?

Thanks,

Darren [;)]

The kit was released a few years ago & is an excellent kit. It is likely OOP at this time, but check some of the US web stores such as Squadron & Great Models. All else fails, there is always eBay.

Regards, Rick

If I’m not mistaken after the ProModeler kit went OOP, it was re released under Revellogram.
Its variant might have varied a bit.
Flaps up, Mike

Definitely OOP at the moment. I haven’t seen the REvell Germany boxing in the shops for over a year, maybe longer. But, since this is pretty new tooling, I expect another boxing shouldn’t be too far away. This time I won’t miss it either.[;)]

There were three identical kits of the 410 (oop)

  • Revell ProModeler
    -Revell Germany
-Revell Monogram (Me410B-2/U-4 configuration), it is the same kit plus the 5cm Bord Kanone

from time to time offered on eBay, actually the only choice I think.

…& Hannants only showed an Aires AM prop/engine detail set…shame it seems they’re the only online mail order source over here…

There are 4 1/72 kits made, just go to squadron.com and do a search on a/c model, 410. they even had a detail kit or two. Pity the 1/48 is oop. That’s a pretty plane to do in a bigger scale.

Tango, The Aviation Hobby shop have a couple in stock.

I know because I was in there last Thursday and saw them tucked away at the back of the shop.

Best bet give them a call on 01895 421 412, or try;

www.tahs.com

If I can help at all let me know as it is only 5 minutes from work.

Karl

Pretty… looks like it wants to take a knife to your throat!

[:)]Many thanks for the info guys, it’s a shame that it’s OOP, but as it’s such a good kit, lets hope that it gets re-released soon.

Karl, I used to live just around the corner from that shop many moons ago[:D] It’s nice to know that it’s still there. I’ll get in touch with them tomorrow.

Once again, thanks everyone for your help[^]
Regards,

Darren.

Darren, then you know sunny West Drayton then?

The shop is still as chaotic as ever, with boxes everywhere, but it is always great just to nip out at lunchtime and browse the shelves, both for the new releases and the older stuff they have moved out of their store room.

Best of luck with the 410. You might want to check out an article in Eagle’s Wings by Nicholas j. Wigman, which details not only building the 410, but also installing the resin engine and wheel bay set from CMK, well worth buying. I got mine from TAHS strangely enough as well.

Karl

Tango, any joy with that 410?

I was in there today, I’ve got to do something in my lunch hour!!!. and noticed it was still there.
