Looking for 1/48 resin exhaust for a B-1

For a friend of mine I’m looking for the resin exhaust for a 1/48 B-1 Lancer made by Cutting Edge. If any one has, please let me know.

Thanks!

Given CE is OOB, you’re probably going to have to focus on eBay and at shows to find them. Be prepared for sticker shock as well. Seems these products are getting rare and carry a hefty price tag.

You might reconsider using the Eduard PE Set.

Depending on what type of engine the B-1 uses you might be able to use a set of exhausts designed for a different plane. I can’t tell you off the top fo my head what engine the B-1 use though and I don’t have the time to look right now. Just a thought. By the way the Cutting Edge set is a real gem for the B-1.

The Eduard set is a good alternative, but maybe a bit intimidating to assemble for someone without alot of PE experience.

Don

Thank you all guys! I will forward to him all those ideas.

When I built my Revell B-1B I think my research showed the B-1B uses the same engines as the F-15… And the exhausts look darn close.

No, you can’t steal the exhausts from an F-15 kit… I tried, they are way too small. I ended up just using the kit exhaust and putting the thing with its back to the wall.
