I am builing a 1/35 scale M2A2 bradley and the kit I have has no interior to it at all . Does anyone know where I can find a kit that is for the bradley?it really stinks because I bought the kit thinking that it would have an interior and it is to go on a dio that is planned for the hatches and doors to be open , but I am missing alot of details that need to be there[xx(]
Is it Tamiya Bradley?
If it is go to great models and in search type bradley interior. The is eduard super set which has turret interior and interior and various accessories.
The only Bradley kit that came with an interior was the original Tamiya M2 (A-nothing) Bradley and the Academy copy of the Tamiya kit. It did not come with engine detail or a turret interior.
The interior has changed quite a bit from the M2 to the current M2A2ODS and M2A3, but it is a start. The Eduard interior set is for the M2 with interior and would be useless if you did not have the interior sprues from the original M2 kit. The turret interior is pretty good. Someone on Armorama did a review of one and he works on the Bradley TOW system. The turret interior could be used on any of the Bradley kits.
yes it is a tamiya kit and I mean the whole inside is bare no details at all yet they give instructions with options of opening up the doors and hatches!
That’s because 80% of the kit is still the original M2 kit minus interior. Just a few sprues with add on parts for the side armor and turret details has changed.
Tamiya sells individual sprues from their kits. Contact them and you should be able to buy the original M2 kit interior sprues, they recently reissued the kit. Spreus usually sell for $5 each plus shipping. Here is their contact info: http://www.tamiyausa.com/contact/index.php
It really is a shame Tamiya didn’t include the interior in their subsequent M2 kits, especially since they jacked up the prices as well.
heavy arty thanks for the link and yeah they should have upgraded the kit since they upgraded the price!
