With the plane of the week being the SR-71, I decided to get some of my Lockheed birds together for a family picture.
They are all 1/48 scale, and include.
Testors YF-12
Monogram F-80, F-104, & P-38
Hawks T-33
and a scale Jeep, thrown in for good measure.

Nice Squadron Kelly Johnson’s progeny. The Skunk Works cranked out some terrific airplanes. The word “genius” doesn’t even come close to describing him.

Reaching that particular plateau just proves I have too much time on my hands. Too much time on the computer instead of building models. I am laid off at work at the moment waiting for the winter slow down to pick back up.

nice P-38 all you need in that picture is a P-61 Black Widow
