I was being a smart Alec . I would like to find a model done by REVELL of that one nice looking Bird .I don’t need the Decals as there is one that lives near me ( New Braunfels Regional Airport ). I’ll get the owners permission and build her that way .
Why not get one of the far superior 1/35 Dragon MD-500/H-6 kits? They have quite a few different versions to choose from that are much better detailed than the 40+ year old 1/32 Revell kit. What version of Little Bird are you looking to build?

Gee, I’ve got Academy’s 1/48th Hughes 500 police chopper but just can’t seem to work up the guts to got though all the masking on T.C.'s bird.
The Revell kit (OH-6A) isn’t the same bird as the Magnum one. I had it, it was the same kit as their Nam era Loach, but TC’s chopper was a newer version with a “T” tail and five bladed rotor (500D). It was just molded in brown instead of OD green with orange and yellow striped decals. It still had the military style seats as well as the civilian seats. I think it even had the mini gun.
The kit inside didn’t even match the box top photos of TC’s chopper.
If it’s any help according to this website the series used multiple choppers for filming with several different tail and landing skid types.
The show used several different Hughes 500-series choppers for filming (and a 369D early in the first season), each with a slightly different setup and look. The main differences were with regards to the tail and skids - T-tailed (500D), Y-tailed (500C), high skids, short skids, skids with floats, and gray and tan interiors were all used in various configurations. The T-tailed/short skid setup (the 500D) was by far the most commonly seen in the show.
The chopper was totaled twice. So I guess you can assume T.C. used the insurance to buy a totally new machine - making in the fiction of the show there were three different choppers in all.
So it gives you a bit of leeway on how you build her.

The Loach is one of my favorites in any configuration .The one I am going to build is the one My company owned for short flights . The long range bird had fixed wings . It was a restored WW2 Bomber .
