I remember hearing somewhere about a liquid type mask. Is there such a thing?
I want to mask around some tiny complex shaped items and this sounds like it could make the job easier.
There are several brands of liquid mask out. Your results may vary depending on just how “tiny” the shapes are you’d like to mask.
I know that Ambroid makes a liquid mask, and so does Micro Mark. I’ve used Winsor & Newton’s masking fluid with great results. Not sure about the first 2, but the W & N is basically latex thinned with (I think) a little ammonia. It cerainly has that ammonia smell to it. It dries quickly and I haven’t had any difficulty peeling it off after using it.
