You do this by highlighting the text you want to link, then using the link icon above you paste the link into the Link URL box and then select a Target in the next box below that…prefer you select open in a new window so the original thread remains visible without going back and forth.

soory i was trying myself…all i did was copy and paste…it did everything else for me…
When you click on the hyperlink icon is it opening a separate dialog box. If so are you pasting the URL in the appropriate place and then once done hitting the insert button at the bottom of the box? I sometimes hit cancel by accident.
Yes sir. I’m on a Apple computer with Firefox which works for everything else I’ve come across, but this. I’m clicking on insert also…I’m stumped! [:XX]
I figured it out. I had a space in front of the http which made it not a valid link. Thanks for your help guys. [hdphns]
