I bought on e-Bay an old Lindberg JU-88 kit. OK, I know it is not the best on the market and do not tell me about all that flash; I bought it anyway because my father bought me one about 40 years ago and, believe me, in those times we were not so rivet counters and those moving surfaces, retractable gear and modeled engines were really outstanding! Now I need your help because I would like to paint it in a “correct” way, so I would appreciate very much if somebody could suggest proper painting scheme and colours, considerindg that the model is an “A” bomber version. Thanks in advance for any help.

Wow! Such courage to face a Lindberg kit! [:p] Well, I don’t know much about Nazi paint schemes, but I’ve always wanted to do a Ju-88, so I’ll see what I can dig up. You may want to contact Pix, because he loves them german birds, or swanny because he’s built a condor. [:D]
For a JU-88A, the most common scheme would be the RLM 70/71/65 splinter camo. There were several other schemes depending on the Theater and time frame, but I won’t attempt to describe them all here.
Hay zero, we use English. [:I][:D]

hope this helps…
I started one of those twenty years ago. I get it out every now and then with the idea that I might actually finish it with a few changes to the interior. It would appear to represent a JU88 A1 bsed on the canopy design. The scheme most likely would be 70,71, and 65 since that model was obsolete by the end of the Battle of Britain. Atleast, that is the scheme I still plan to use if it ever gets finished.
