Ok as hard as we try we never have perfect lighting and there always seems to be a shadow that makes things hard to see… Dont know if its been suggested before…So Im going to suggest it.
I use a nightblaster headlamp…often when Im painting parts I might get a shadow ussually from my hand or something else that can make things kinda hard to see…well I just throw this thing on and most of the problem dissapears plus its focused lighting and not just general lighting![;)]

Sounds like a great idea History. I find that I’m always shifting my models around in different angles to get light on all surfaces. Sounds like a problem solver[8D]
Great idea. On the Snap-on tool truck the other day, the tool man had a neat pair of glasses with out the glass and two lights one on each side of the frame. Thats just a great idea History.
I have used the following arrangements succesfully so far.
1.) 2 Spot lights at opposite ends of the desk
2.) Hiking head lamp (LED 2 settings)
3.) Desk-lamp with build-in magnifying lens
4.) Head worn magnifying lens with build in light
