Since I am no electronics wiz and the guy at Radio Shack was no help, (he was dumber than me), I was wandering if possible to light the Trumpeter 1/24 scale Zero (navigation lights, cockpit) using small LEDs. What kind of components do I need to power lights and have them blink ? Or, were the lights constant, without blinking on the real plane ?
The lighting whizzes tend to be science fiction modellers. Maybe have a Google for sci fi models as I am sure that I have seen pages on builds where they have used fibre optics & LED’s to light up star ship models. perhaps the FSM Sci Fi forum could better answer your question?
