I make models of planes that my friends used to fly. Always trying to get the colors and letters
correct. . Where can I find a selection of paste on letters? The store here has dried up. I can get
the rub on’s from Woodland Scenes, but they’re a little hard to handle when my old hands get shakey.
If you have a decent printer you could make your own…just need some decal paper. Personally, I havent tried doing yet but theres people on the forums that do it all the time, try picking their brains for all the details. I live in southern New Jersey and we have Michael`s and A.C. Moore craft stores that carry tons of number and letter stickers, transfers,etc in all kinds of sizes and styles. You probably could find something to your liking…also,they both carry Revell models and modelling supplies. Hope this helped. Good Luck!

you mean i’m not the only “old” guy still at it ??? Try craft stores if you have any in your area. although it may be hard to find any small enough.
If you are having trouble putting the dry transfer letters onto the model, I have seen people put them onto decal film first, then put them onto the model like a water slide decal. I haven’t done it, but I don’t believe they have to be sealed or anything first.
Hi Bob. I’m Glen and 74. I got back into plastics a short time ago after flying R/C for 20 yrs. I build strictly 1/48 and the most used size letters I use are 1/2" 38" 1/4" and 3/16. Sioux City Ia does have craft stores but no longer carry the letters that we use in this hobby. AND I’m new to this forum and hope I’m using it correctly. The friends I make models for are all ex-airforce guys - crewmen and pilots.
