Let's kill this E-Bayed F-18 once and for all

Here’s a very informative article about the F-18 that was a Blue Angel and was up for auction on e-bay. This was in this Month’s Pacific Flyer’s newspaper usually circulated at most general aviation airports. Enjoy.

It looks like someone has some explaining to do to the NCIS. [(-D]

damn n00bs, trying to rip people off

Still might make a nice “Gate Guardian” if it can be cobbled together. I believe there was also a flyable F-18 on ebay awhile back. I wonder what the story on that one is.

makes me wonder about some of the other things ive seen on ebay.

Like me ol’ Pappy used to say, “If it seems too good to be true, it’s probably not.”[;)]

Holly cow! and I allmost blew 9,000,000$ on the blue bug!

So you’re the one who outbid my measley $8,750,000!!!

from what I’ve read the F/A-18 was in a disassembled state through an US Military news magazine, so if there was a buyer they’d had one hell of a model to build, also it’s engines where in total disrepair and needed a major overhaul ( easier to replace them ), as with the rest of the planes accessory systems ( Electrical, Environmental, Hydraulic, Fuel, Avionics, Oxygen, and ETC…) but who else one their block would have a 1/1 scale F/A-18 Blue Angel

Ha Ha Ha the bloke selling it should be sent down
isnt he also selling the Cable ?
I bet its still in the ground and being used by someone else
