Do you see the device inside the red circle?.. Well, the Trumpeter kit lacks it completely, and I think it’s an important part because it was used for lifting the rounds onto the wagon… Is there closer pics of it?.. Model kit pics will also help. Many thanks in advance. Most regards.

Neither the Trumpeter or Dragon kits include this part…it looks like a shell cradle, but beyond that I’ve never seen it in any pics of the Leopold in action other than the one you’ve shown. Looks pretty straightforward, just use the kit supplied shell to work out the dimensions and you should be ok in creating a reasonable enough representation.

At about 37 seconds into the video, there are some close-ups of the shell hoist. This is the best I’ve seen.
Thank you guys for your replies… The kit’s owner gave me a pair of shells, for the info I gathered, it seems that in the cradel there is room for one shell and two powder packs… So I’ll ask him for a pair of powder packs too, so I can scratchbuild the entire cradle if required.
