Yes everyone, I am going to help a friend move out from Ontario California to Needles (Bullhead) Arizona. I’ll be gone for a week so I won’t be able to respond to any comments on these until I return. On that note, I shall thank you all for your comments now, and I will be looking forward to seeing what everyone says next week! [;)][8D]
I have been working on Dragon’s 1/72 scale Bergetiger for awhile. I had clearcoated it with a coat of Future and gave it a wash. I also did some detail painting, and application of a few more parts. Here is the result:
I still need to put on the tracks on it. I painted the tracks a steel color, and then taped them to the front of my fan so they’d hang down in the airflow and let it blow
for about three days. That dried them up well. No stickiness! (worked for my Dragon Chally II also!) Now I have to figure out how to put them on and still get the sag that they are supposed to have on this tank. Dragon molded them too short! When I come back, I’ll finish the decals, more wash, dullcoat and then drybrush. By then I figure I’ll know what to do about the tracks.
I have also been working on Trumpeter’s 1/72 scale ZiL 157 Fuel Truck. I finally got it painted. Here are some pics:
Later, I clearcoated it with Future and applied the decals. This is turning out to be a sharp looking little truck if I do say so myself! [^]
When I return I’ll give it a wash, a dullcoat, and then drybrush it to complete it.
Hope you all like them. Coments are welcome, and I’ll read them in another week! [;)][^]
