learning how to scribe lines on raised panel models

Hello everyone, I just did a search and could not find any information on panel scribbing. I have never done it and I would like some tips and information on how to properly apply this technique. Also what tools are the best for the job. Thanks, Herbie

Thanks Multi-media and Scratchbuilt, these articles are really helpful. I am returning to modeling after a number of years away, and I decided to build a 1/48 scale B-58 Hustler, and the model I bought has the raised panel lines, that I always disliked. Can’t wait to try this out. Thank You Herbie.

Thanks Multi-media & Scratchbuilt, too. I’m doing an old Emily flying boat. I have all the raised detail off and have all the supplies to start scribbing the beast, but haven’t had the nerve. The articles got be ‘motivated’!
