We took a ride up to the BRP, absolutely perfect day for a ride. These shots are from a spot called the Devils Court House, a fairly short hike to the summit offers a panoramic view of the valley below.5720 ft elevation. We feel blessed to live near such beauty.
That’s beautiful Tojo!
Leaves changing here too though not as spectacular a show as that!
Good looking country.
Out here the oaks turn brown, big leaf maples go yellow, vine maple turns red. The few aspen groves in the central and eastern part of the state got to gold.
The pines, firs, hemlocks and yews just keep their normal green until they get their white sweaters in a month or so.
Beautifil images. You truly are lucky to live is such a stunning landscape.
Wow[:)] gorgeous panarama Tojo.
I know what you mean. I used to live in Blacksburg VA…and the stretch between Roanoke and B’burg…in fact, the whole New River Valley…was always a nearly-unimaginable riot of color this time of year.[Y][Y][Y]
Mother Nature is a wonderful woman. We are all truly blessed to live in this wonderful place that we call Earth.
Nice
