LCVP drawings

Hi Everyone.

I am an Spanish modeller and I am trying to build the LCPV from Fonderie Miniatures. I watched the article about it in this page but as always, nothing about the electric winch that opened the bow. I have been trying to contact Omaha Beach and Utah Beach Museums, D-Day Museum in New Orleans, the LCVP Challenge, with no result. The drawings appearing in Internet are not really good and I wonder if anyone in this site knows who this winch worked and if he/she has any drawing or picture with this boat in detail, mainly the electric winch and port side (equalizing seaver, etc) I would be really greatly.

Thanks to everyone indeed and sorry about the language mistakes.

No problemo JL, usted necesita entrar en contacto con Floating Drydock www.floatingdrydock.com , llevan planes y dibujos de la nave.

¡Espero que las ayudas!

How about this

Oh sure Phil…now I’m going to have to send an electric wind from an LCVP to Spain just to one-up ya!! [:)]

I thought you were a figure modeler? (tongue firmly planted in cheek)

Jeff

Jeff,
What I do with my personal life is my business[swg]

Figure Modeler. I wish. Only completed one figure kit so far (Spiderman, he was at the Nats, didn’t win but who cares). Have a couple others to do (both Catwoman).

I just sell them.

I actually think I build anything. It is finishing models that I have a problem with.
I like pretty much anything in 72nd, aircraft, armor, ships (especially landing craft and patrol boats), sci-fi and will build the odd car kit (Herbie, Ecto, etc).

What about you? What else besided ships and 1/350 scale aircraft dios?

I’m a true Renaissance modeler… I build whatever suits my fancy at that particular moment in time…in 2004, I build the following:

1 S-100 Class Schnellboote 1/72.
1 IJN Cruiser Nachi in 1/500 scale.
1 IJN tanker in 1/700 scale.
1 IJN destroyer in 1/700 scale.
3 1/48 aircraft (Spitfire, Fw-190D-9 and Ta-152)
1 1/32 aircraft (Bf-109G-6)
2 120mm figures
2 200mm figures
1 Viking Longboat
1 9-foot long, all brass ocean liner
6 1/600 scale ironclads (Confederate)
2 1/144 scale planes
1 1/72 tank
3 Warhammer (25mm?) knights on horseback (just because I liked them)
1 Lord of the Rings Fell Beast
1/350 airfield diorama

And by the end of the year, I’ll have 2 more 120mm figures done, a 1/4 scale bust.

Half finished projects include a 1/350 Arleigh Burke, 1/700 IJN Takao and Myoko, a JS-2, Tiger II, and 3 Spitfires.

Not exactly a production line…but entertaining nevertheless.

Jeff

Have you finished that Panzerjager yet? Would love to see the pics.

Actually, he’s almost done…I’ve converted him quite a bit though…Verlinden Panzergrenadier head, and replaced the Panzerfaust with an MG42, and he’ll have an MP40 slung over his shoulder. Kit went together very nicely, I have to look into more of those vinyl kits…

I’ll post up as soon as I get the primer down, over the next couple of days.

Jeff
