Latest Completed Build Tamiya 1/48 250/3

Here are some shots from my latest build,Tamiya’s 1/48 Greif It is done OOTB using Tamiya and Testor’s acyrilic’s and filtered, washed, and weathered with Mig Products.I thought it came out ok,it was a real easy kit to work on and assembled easily.Just had a little trouble with the tiny tracks.1/72 must be a nightmare. But thanks for looking and any comments welcome.

Looks great. How well did the GREIF decals go down?I built this kit almost two decades ago and couldn’t make the decals work.

Looks really great!

Nice chipping and weathering!

I love the “Grief” markings!

Looks great, thinking about picking up that kit myself.

TD, this is the new 1/48th kit, not the 1/35th.

Looks cool to me, but too much weathering for me.

Just my 2 cents, other than that opinion its a really good looking build.

Thanks everybody for looking

Doog…always good to hear from one of this site’s masters…thanks

TD…decals went down real easy with micro-sol and set

Ygmodeler…thanks for the advice, sometimes you get going and get carried away,I’ll keep that in mind for future projects.

I really like the overall looks of this guy. [tup] My only beef is that you have a lot of paint chipping under the “GREIF” markings - which were also made of paint. Shouldn’t those markings be chipped as well? They look brand new on top of your heavily-worn hull.
