Could use some improvement, but at my age I’ll take it.
Wow! I don’t know your age but your modeling skills are outstanding Leonard! That NMF is super and I love how the blue on the spine and tail looks with it.
Very nice results. The finish overall looks pretty good, especially the green on the nose and blue on spine and tail. I like the look of the silver, not overly polished, more fitting an operational aircraft. What did you use for it?
I built an old MPC version of this many decades ago, might have to get a new Airfix one after seeing this.
Beautifully done! Your bare metal finish is outstanding.
Very nice model. In 1973 or '74, I saw a Lightning perform at an air show in England, while I was in the USAF. The pilot just tore the sky apart for about 5(?) minutes. It was one of the best performances I’ve ever seen. This plane was unpainted aluminum with standard '70’s RAF markings.
It’s Vallejo Model Air silver over Vallejo black primer.
